Madrid Out, Istanbul and Tokyo in Final Vote for 2020 Games

(ATR) Madrid is out in the first round of voting by the IOC for the
2020 Olympics. Either Istanbul or Tokyo will emerge as the winner of round
Tokyo progressed to the next round, while Madrid and Istanbul went to a tiebreaker vote. Istanbul received 49 votes in the tiebreak, while Madrid received 45.
Istanbul and Madrid received 26 votes each during the first round of the election.
The IOC is voting at the Session in Buenos Aires with the winner to be announced shortly by IOC President Jacques Rogge.
