IPC Academy Games Experience Programme
The Games Experience Programme is being held between 3 to 5 September 2012 and will give governments, bidding and candidate cities, and those involved in the Paralympic Games supply chain a much greater understanding of the complexities involved in delivering the second biggest sporting event in the world.

World Fit Walk 2012
The World Fit mission is to promote a culture of health and fitness for children. World Fit strives to eradicate both childhood obesity and the enormous toll obesity has taken on families, society and healthcare systems.
Through Olympian and Paralympian participation, World Fit pairs these mentors with schools to inspire their students about the importance of health, fitness and Olympic values of perseverance, respect and fair play. The World Fit Walk is the heart of the World Fit program. Each year, the Walk begins on the Monday following Spring break and continues for the following six weeks. Daily, students who participate in the World Fit Walk will log their miles via the website, www.worldfit.org.

ITTF Dream Building Program
The ITTF Dream Building Program is the new umbrella branding of the social responsibility programs that the ITTF is involved in and brings together the Development Program "creating opportunities to dream", Para Table Tennis "nothing can stop the dream" and Junior Table tennis "creating the dream pathway".
Individuals will be able to donate at the website www.ittfdream.com/donate. Corporations are invited to partner the ITTF Dream Building program for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Recognition levels will be commensurate with the level of support, and ranges from Bronze Dream Builders to Platinum Dream Builders.

U.S. Archery
"Shooting for Gold"
USA Archery kicks off one of its most important initiatives, called "Shooting for Gold:" an effort to raise funds to support the team and the organization in the lead-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Hoping to capitalize on the excitement of 2012, USA Archery has launched a peer donation engine, which is a secure online portal that will allow people to raise funds for USA Archery, or make a one-time donation to the organization.

This is part of the national Olympic governing body SASCOC’s drive to create a national identity around the team, also at future events like the Commonwealth Games, World Games, All Africa Games and Zone VI games.

As the Presenting Partner of the Film Nation: Shorts programme, Panasonic UK Limited will be working with LOCOG, the UK Film Council and its partners, to provide UK-wide film making workshops for young people. Shorts workshops will cover everything from camera skills to how to develop a story through to direction and how to successfully work with actors. Through the sessions and online resources Film Nation: Shorts intends to encourage the making of over 2,000 fi lms celebrating sport, participation, achievement and excellence in the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The competitions will begin in March 2010 culminating in special award ceremonies each year.

The IOC Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) has launched the 2013 Postgraduate Research Grant Programme intended for early career researchers engaged in scholarly research on the Olympic Movement, its history and ideals, and the impact of the Olympic Games on the various aspects of contemporary society and culture. Encourage early career researchers to undertake research with a humanities or social sciences perspective on the Olympic phenomena. For the 2013 selection, 16 priority fields of research are being proposed to the researchers.
