Nightlife
Just over two decades ago, British Columbia bars were closed on Sundays. Now they’re open seven days a week and some in downtown Vancouver are open until 4 a.m. The late-1990s brought casino expansion and Vancouver has several that run around the clock. Minimum legal age to consume alcohol or gamble is 19. Many of Vancouver’s most popular bars are in the Granville Mall entertainment district cluster.
